  • Yes! Bikram yoga is the combination of strenght, balance, concentration and breathing. Your flexibility will improve with your practice. As long as you feel the strecth in your muscles, you’ll get 100% benefit of the posture.
  • Is Bikram yoga an aerobic work-out?
  • Yes! Bikram yoga is as good or better than any other aerobic workout you will find! It raises your heart rate for 90 minutes, moving fresh, oxygenated blood to every cell in your body.
  • Can I practice Bikram yoga if I have high blood pressure?
  • Yes! Bikram Yoga reduces high blood pressure and balances your metabolism.
  • Can I practice Bikram yoga if I have never done yoga before?
  • Yes! Bikram Yoga is a beginning level class with plenty of detailed information to lead people of all ages and levels of ability safely through the class.
  • Can I do other work-outs beside practicing Bikram yoga?
  • Yes, of course. Bikram yoga is a perfect compliment to other work-outs.
  • Does Bikram yoga help to lose weight?
  • Yes, if you need to. Your appetite will normalize, and your unhealthy cravings will diminish. All of these results will help to normalize your weight if you devote yourself to regular practice at least, but preferably more than, 3 times per week.
  • How qualified the instructors are?
  • All of the instructors who teach Bikram or Hot yoga are master trained and certified by Bikram himself at National Headquarters. They must complete the challenging 500 hour course that includes anatomy, Yoga Philosophy and a detailed study of each pose and its effect on the body. Re-certification is required for all teachers every 3 years.
